Options
Somfy™ Wireless Home Automation System
How would you like to be able to extend or retract your awning with a touch of a button? Choose from hand-held remote control or wall-switch operation.
Sun and Wind Sensors
The sun sensor automatically extends the awning when light/heat setting reach a certain point. The wind sensor automatically retracts the awning when wind speeds exceed the preset limits.
Manual Override
Power outages happen. Not being able to use your motorized awning because your power is out is inconvenient. Having a manual override allows you to extend and retract your motorized awning with the use of a conventional crank. This option comes standard on most Okanagan Screens™ installations.
Retractable Valance
The Retractable Front Valance is a smart solution for where extra sun protection or privacy at the front of the awning is desired.
Side Curtains
Side Curtain is an additional fabric panel attached on hooks fitted to the sides of the front bar and installation bar. The Side Curtains are designed for extra sun protection and privacy.

Dual-Mode Arm Shoulder – Innovatively designed and virtually unbreakable high-strength extruded aluminum.
Arm Springs – Heavy-duty and engineered for years of longevity.
Lateral Arms – Strong die-cast and thermo-treated aluminum elbows with PVC protected aircraft cables.
Front Bar – Internally reinforced, it provides a smooth transition between fabric and valance.
Roller Tube – Galvanized with heavy-duty spring-memory to re-bound to its original shape.
Fixing Brackets – An advanced design featuring shock-absorbing parts to withstand wind loads.
Manual Operation – Speedy bevel-gear with a stopper which prevents the fabric from rolling up in the wrong direction.
Spring Assist (Optional) – Springs in the folding arms keep the fabric taut at all times. The ‘Spring Assist’ counteracts this tension making retracting your awning a breeze!
Protective Hood – Solid extruded aluminum, the hood protects the awning from dirt and debris. Unlike other metal hoods, there is no wind noise.
