How long do retractable awnings last?
Frames are powder-coated aluminum and carry 5-10 year warranties. Solution-dyed acrylic fabrics last 10-15 years in the Okanagan sun with proper care.
Can retractable awnings handle wind?
They should be retracted in high winds. Wind sensors are available to do this automatically. We engineer every install for Okanagan wind loads.
What maintenance do they need?
Hose off the fabric 2-3 times per season. Keep the mechanism free of debris. We offer annual service if you want hands-off.
